Beginners Section

We hold beginners lessons and practise sessions 7-9 pm on Thursday nights during the main bridge season at the Dingwall Community Centre, Old Academy Building, Tulloch Street.

We have re-launched these lessons in a different format which now include lessons and practise sessions. The lessons will teach basic ACOL up to a level which, will allow you to play competitively in the Main Club, should you wish to do so.

There is however no requirement to play in the main club and a number of people will prefer to play in the less competitive teaching environment.

Your skills can be at any level and you can attend with or without a partner although it is better to learn with a partner or friend. You can join partway through the season although this will require some individual teaching to allow you to catch up with the main group.

There is a charge of £3.00 per session to cover the cost of any handouts and hire of the hall.

Lessons

A number of bridge lessons can be accessed through the menu links on the left side of the page. They are a summary of the key lessons taught in the Beginners Classes and more advanced lessons that have been given to the main club members.

The Lesson will open in a 2nd Window. Close this Window when you are done or you can leave both Windows open and use the Lesson Menu to look through a number of the lessons.
